ORIX Corporation reported net income of 447.3 Bln JPY for FY2025 (fiscal year ended March 31, 2026), a record high for the third consecutive year (YoY +95.6 Bln JPY, +27%) and 7.3 Bln JPY (+2%) above the full-year forecast. ROE rose to 10.4%, up 1.6 percentage points year on year. Consolidated Results (Full-Year Actual)

Segment profits for FY2025 rose 35% YoY to 732.6 Bln JPY, and pre-tax profits rose 44% YoY to 691.4 Bln JPY, with all three business categories seeing profit growth. Finance category growth was mainly driven by higher investment income in Insurance and higher Corporate Financial Services fees. Operation benefited from strong inbound tourism-related businesses, solid performance at Rentec, Auto, and Ships, and investment gains from Canara Robeco and the Zeeklite sale. Investments profits were driven primarily by gains from the Greenko stake sale, gains from large real estate sales, and earnings and valuation gains from PE investees such as Toshiba. Total assets rose to 18,002.8 Bln JPY at end-FY2025 from 16,866.3 Bln JPY at end-FY2024 (+1,136.5 Bln JPY), and shareholders’ equity rose to 4.5 Tln JPY from 4.1 Tln JPY.

In FY2025, Finance segment profit was 189.2 Bln JPY with ROE unchanged YoY at 8.2%; Operation segment profit was 237.1 Bln JPY with ROE up 0.4pp to 13.9%; and Investments segment profit was 306.3 Bln JPY with ROE up 6.2pp to 13.6%, primarily reflecting the Greenko stake sale (gain on sale and valuation gains totaling 95.0 Bln JPY).

Within the 10 business segments, Environment and Energy swung to a profit of 115.8 Bln JPY from a loss of 4.9 Bln JPY (+120.7 Bln JPY) on gains from the sale of Greenko, Ormat, and Zeeklite stakes plus interest income from AM Green convertible notes. Shareholder Returns

Full-year DPS for FY2025 reached a record 156.10 JPY (payout ratio 39%), and the 150.0 Bln JPY share buyback program was fully executed; ORIX also cancelled all treasury shares exceeding 2% of shares outstanding. Medium-Term Plan / Topics

ORIX is continuing three key initiatives toward its long-term vision — portfolio optimization, sophisticated risk management, and new business creation — and from FY2026 (FY27.3) has added ‘business model transformation’ as a new priority, centered on its two core business models, ‘Alternative Investment and Operations’ and ‘Business Solutions.’ Medium-term target for FY2027 (FY28.3) is ROE of 11.0%; long-term vision for FY2034 (FY35.3) is ROE of 15.0%.
