Net sales were 37,724 million yen (+7.4% year on year) and segment profit was 7,436 million yen (+3.3% year on year), an increase in both sales and profit. Rate revisions and improved operational efficiency absorbed higher personnel, power and other costs. In the Food Sales Business, net sales rose to 87,807 million yen (+0.8% year on year), helped by higher handling volumes from abundant catches of marine products such as sardines and mackerel, but the business could not fully absorb higher freight, storage and other costs, and segment profit declined to 1,217 million yen (△17.4% year on year). Note that each segment profit is stated before deduction of unallocated operating expenses (expenses relating to administrative divisions).

Progress of the Medium-Term Management Plan
Regarding the medium-term management plan, the company revised its numerical targets to factor in the impact of cost increases and of the structural reform of the Food Sales Business. In the Refrigerated Warehousing Business, segment operating profit is expected to fall short of the initial plan because increased depreciation accompanying soaring construction costs and rising energy costs ran above the assumed level. In the Food Sales Business, net sales and segment operating profit are expected to fall short of the initial plan due to the review of low-margin transactions, and the company is promoting a shift to a business structure that emphasizes profitability. Among the numerical targets for 2026, the EBITDA target of 13.0 billion yen is unchanged. ROE was lowered from the initial target of “5% or more” to “4% or more,” while the capital adequacy ratio target of “maintaining the 40% level” is unchanged. In addition, in 2025 three facilities were completed — the Ben Luc Logistics Center, the company’s first base in Vietnam, together with the Okayama CONNECT Logistics Center and the Tokachi Food Valley Logistics Center — advancing the expansion of environmentally conscious centers and ASEAN global development.
